You may need to wait a whole week more to get your hands on the highly anticipated S8 and S8 Plus phones.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus release dates have reportedly been pushed back by a week. We were expecting an April 21 release but now many reliable sources have said the devices will be released on April 28. Although we can’t really call it a push back since it has not yet been announced officially, but it still has been pushed back by 1 week from Samsung’s original plans.
Some sources have said the cause of this is because of the low supply of the Snapdragon 835 and Exynos 8895 processors. Samsung has been known to be cautious with the S8 and S8 Plus so we don’t get a repeat of the Note 7 event. The press conference event in New York City will still go on as planned on March 29 where a new Gear VR with a controller will also be released.
The S8 and S8 Plus is planned to have a 5.8” and 6.2” screen respectively. If you would like to know more about the device, please click here to see an article outlining the device more briefly.
