ALERT: HTC U Ultra Shipping March 10th
The GSM Unlocked HTC U Ultra will begin shipping pre-orders March 10.
The phone is being offered in sapphire blue (my favorite), brilliant black, and ice white variants starting at $749 (£649/AU$1,199) and will work only on GSM carriers, such as AT&T, T-Mobile and many other regional and pre-paid networks can use a GSM Unlocked HTC U Ultra. What about Verizon or Sprint? No go, and unfortunately HTC has not said if there will be any plans of a special mode for the CDMA band carriers.
HTC sales have struggled year after year release after release. The HTC U Ultra has what it takes to be a flag ship device but is it enough to turn sales for HTC, only time will tell. Here is a little info about the HTC U Ultra in case you missed it be revealed.
HTC’s U Ultra features a 5.7-inch 2560×1440 Super LCD 5 display, as well as a secondary 2.05-inch 160×1040 screen above that main display. The secondary display can be used for quick access to your favorite apps and contacts, notifications, and more. U Ultra’s rear camera, which includes a 12-megapixel sensor with phase detection autofocus, laser autofocus, and optical image stabilization and the powerful 6-megapixel front camera, Snapdragon 821 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, a fingerprint reader, and a 3000mAh battery. This flagship does not have the common 3.5mm headphone jack but rather the less common USB-C for headphones and charging.
If you pre-ordered be on the look out!!
