The S8 and S8 Plus were released officially recently and we got a real look at the brand new Samsung smartphones. The screen sizes are 5.8″ and 6.2″ respectively. Samsung are hoping this phone will stun consumers and media so they will forget about the whole Note 7 incident.

Rear mounted fingerprint sensor
I’m not really a fan of the rear mounted fingerprint sensor but it’s really a personal choice. After all, there is an iris scanner you can use easily and efficiently.
The Bixby AI is not quite a finished product yet. Bixby only supports 2 languages currently, which are, American English and Korean. Not only that, but Bixby isn’t even integrated in some of Samsung’s apps. Samsung plans to integrate Bixby in every app. Thankfully, Samsung did not get rid of Google Assistant.
The Infinity Display wraps around most of the phone. There is no flat version of the S8, instead Samsung is bringing the luxury to both the normal S8 and the S8 Plus. In my opinion, the Infinity Display makes the phone look more luxurious while feeling comfortable holding it.
Samsung DeX is a dock that turns your S8 into an Android PC! Samsung thinks its powerful enough to replace your everyday PC. Samsung has worked very closely with Microsoft and Adobe to bring the full Microsoft Office suite and Photoshop / Lightroom support to DeX. Iy can run x86 programs and supports VMWare and Citrix so you can virtualise a Windows computer. DeX plugs into your monitor / TV via HDMI and plugs to a power source via USB C. DeX also includes a pair of USB 2.0 ports to plug in your USB’s for the real PC experience and an Ethernet port for convenience. The DeX dock will not be included with the S8 and you will need to buy it separately.
The S8 is a feature packed phone with all new technology. It is a good looking phone and the Infinity Display will attract people. It does include Bixby, but its nothing to be excited about, its not a finished product. Let’s see how Apple responds with the iPhone 8.
