Samsung has recently launched its new flagship device the Samsung C9 Pro, which they say as per their commercials is a modern day phone, but I beg to differ personally. Build Quality & Looks
The C9 pro is available in two colours black and gold. It has a unibody metal design which has become a trend since HTC introduced it. The overall look of the phone is very good.
Processor RAM & Storage
The Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro is powered by 1.44GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 processor and it comes with 6GB of RAM. The phone packs 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card. The recent trend of the Samsung phones has been that of using snapdragon processors after they tried some of their own processors and they were unsuccessful in terms of seamless performance in the long run. The snapdragon with 8 cores offers this phone the much needed stability in terms of multitasking and eliminates the problems of constant freezing of processes.
Display & User Interface
The phone comes with a 6 inch Super amoled display which is the case in most of the Samsung phones . The display and the user interface is well integrated and the Samsung user interface is usually integrated well, with many tricks and tweaks available in the phone itself. The Phone has a rear 16 MP camera with dual led flash AND a front 16 MP camera as well. The camera seems to be laid out for the current trend of selfies. Overall the user interface cannot be commented upon since I have not have had the hands on experience of the phone yet.
The Antutu Benchmark places the Samsung C9 pro just below some of the current phones, which suggests that having the highest RAM does not guarantee performance. Over the C9 Pro is the XPERIA Z5 WHICH SCOPERS MUCH BETTER IN THE BENCHMARKS. HOWEVER, again Benchmarks are not an overall indicator of the performance is what I feel.
Overall the Phone looks good on the specs, however its price point is not justified for the specifications that are provided by Samsung. At a much lower price is available the one plus 3 T and also the Samsung galaxy s6 edge which I would feel is better than this phone. Overall the phone looks good for people who are looking for a bigger screen and seamless performance and want to go with the brand of Samsung, they can surely go ahead with this phone.
